How hotels price laundry
Open the laundry bag in a Bangkok hotel room and there is a price list. One price per shirt, one per pair of trousers, one per pair of socks, often in separate columns for washing, pressing and dry cleaning. The bill is items times price. Express service is usually a surcharge. Some hotels add service charge and VAT on top.
We do not quote hotel prices. They range from guesthouses to five-star towers and change often. Count the items in your bag, add up your own hotel's list, and compare with the table above.
Same bag, both ways
Take a bag with 6 T-shirts, 3 pairs of shorts, 1 pair of jeans, 7 pairs of underwear and 7 pairs of socks. That is 24 items, about 3 kg by the mid-points of the typical weights above.

The more small items, the bigger the gap. Underwear and socks are light, so they add almost nothing by weight but a full line each on a hotel list.
When hotel laundry is the better choice
- A suit or dress that needs dry cleaning. We do not offer dry cleaning.
- One shirt you need pressed tonight.
- You cannot leave the hotel and are outside our 2 km pickup area.
- Leather, suede, fur or heavily beaded clothes. We do not take these.
How to keep the bill down
- Put everything in one bag. The minimum is 2 kg.
- Use the 24-hour service unless you need clothes tonight. Same day is 200 THB per kg instead of 100 THB.
- Walk it over if you are near Nana. We are a 2-minute walk from BTS Nana, and walking saves the 150 THB pickup.
- Skip ironing for T-shirts and shorts. It adds 20 THB per kg.
